You will join a large, successful and well-respected Private Client team who are based across our 7 regional offices and which include fellow Fee Earners, Will Drafters, a Tax Specialist and a strong legal support team.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of their own of probate and estate administration matters, delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services while supporting the continued development of the department.
The Day to Day:
- Managing a full caseload of probate and estate administration matters from start to finish. Estates will be taxable and non-taxable.
- Assisting clients in fixed fee interviews where appropriate.
- Working with members of the commercial team to answer queries they may have on estate administration issues.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
- Supervising and supporting junior staff where appropriate
- Assisting with business development and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to the growth and reputation of the Private Client department.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
You must be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with between 1 and 3 yrs PQE dealing with estate administration.
You must be able to demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of administering estates
- Experience in understanding Inheritance Tax calculations.
