The Role
Acting as a trusted advisor to individuals, businesses and local authorities, the solicitors and support staff at Holmes & Hills take the time to understand clients’ objectives before delivering practical advice through a personal and accessible approach.
THE ROLE
Covering Maternity leave in a 1 year fixed term contract you will work in a fast-paced conveyancing department which specialises in new build and shared ownership transactions. You will be speaking with clients and referrers on a daily basis whilst progressing their files. You will work closely with the New Build team to provide administrative support to this business area.
THE DAY TO DAY:
- Assisting on the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property for New Build and Shared Ownership
- Assisting in dealing with financial arrangements related to property acquisitions on behalf of buyer / lender including mortgage arrangements and Gifts
- To create and coordinate correspondence and document files for each individual client matter according to the standards laid down by the firm and other governing bodies
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and with other professional contacts
- Assist fee earners in promotion and marketing activities of the team
To be successful in this role you should have strong experience of a legal admin role ideally within a conveyancing team.
