The type of work you and the team will deal with includes birth injuries, surgical errors, hospital negligence, cosmetic surgery, dental negligence, mental health care, care home negligence, misdiagnosis and late diagnosis, GP negligence and wrong prescription claims.
The work
The work carried out by our Clinical Negligence team has included:
- Achieving a six figure sum in compensation in a complex and serious claim involving misdiagnosis where a client’s arm had to be amputated as a result, leaving the client with significant symptoms which had a significant impact on his life.
- Achieving a five-figure sum in compensation in a claim for a client who suffered wound infection for five years caused by an infected mesh.
- Achieving a five-figure sum in compensation in a claim for a client who due to surgical error developed a significant infection from coronary artery bypass surgery.
We are looking for a Clinical Negligence lawyer with around 2-4 years experience, who has experience of seeing a case through to trial or settlement post exchange of expert evidence. You should have an established record of exceptional client care and be comfortable in understanding clients’ needs and dealing with often sensitive injury issues.

Jason Brady, Partner and Head of the Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury Team will be your supervisor and you will work closely with the other fee earners in the team. You will also have support from the team’s trainee; the team’s cost lawyer; the team’s paralegals; and the support of the team’s secretary and administration assistant.
